Saw the Undertones at Stinky's - was a great show but for me Spider and the FTB's was more special. Please come back to SF Spider! I bought some records down to the show to get signed and didn't manage to get backstage. (my own fault, i was wasted ) so if you could come back i could get them signed, and bring Fearnley this time!

yeah, they got a great crowd too. i thought it would be more of a FTB/utters crowd but the pogues stuff got the biggest response. they only did stuff off the first two albums, i was suprised there was no repeal of the licensing laws though. whistl and vocals could have been a bit louder and the guitarist was fucking around a bit between songs but it was a great night. i'm going again tonight.

Dunno. I had to skip it. Too many last minute things to take care of before I head off to foreign locals.

I suck. :(

Hey! Hooray! I managed to push back my departure date to March 25 (purely a coincidence - really).

Anyone else going to make this show?

I'll be all pissed off if I miss this. Hmm.

I'm supposed to be in India on march 24.

Maybe I can push that departure back to March 25? Hmmmm.

Oh man, I wish I could be at that show, Stinky's Peepshow is famous, there is usually a punk band that plays and then the girls do their thing. NOFX did a song about it, San Francisco Fat...

from http://www.cafedunord.com/calendar.php?cal_date=3|2005 :

March 24
Dino & Luigi Present:
STINKY'S PEEPSHOW
THE FILTHY THIEVING BASTARDS
(Featuring Spider Stacy of the Pogues)
Show: 10:00pm
Doors: 9:00pm
Door: $10.00
Ages: 21+

The Filthy Thieving Bastards are an Irish-inflected punk band including members of Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, the Swingin' Utters, and Camper Van Beethoven. "Stinky's Peepshow" is a burlesque show featuring "large and lovely" women. Should be an interesting evening.
