This? "... Stacey, first backing Smith on tin whistle for an impromptu-sounding The Trees They Do Grow High, and then tackling the union ballad I Dreamed I Saw Joe Hill Last Night..." (from the article Firehazard posted to Media)

what did Spider sing/play??????????? My friend went and said it was a political one about some people getting locked up but he didn't think it was Streets /B6. Although his memory is hazy and he doesn't know the Pogues catalogue too well. Spider also played the whistle

and at the risk of ruining a good story, Vogue didn't seem bothered by Pete's absence. They were more concerned by Paul Simonon having to reschedule and about seeing how many rolls of film they could use on Carl!Oh, and I'd drop everything to be the fifth Libertine but I don't think i'm going to get the call. Looks like i'm going to have to make do with Patti Smith then.

As long as you didn't pull any faces like this at the fashion shoot!

And the haircut is pretty Barat-esque. Become the fifth Libertine!

and yesterday we modelled clothes with Mick Jones and Carl Barat for Italian Vogue.

So the session took place inspite of Pete's absence?

There are still a few tickets according to the RFH website. Sounds like it should be a great gig. Sadly I don't think I can get there.

Patti Smith has asked me to sing a song with her at the RFH on Friday, if anyone is interested. I think it is sold out though. Also this week, Shane and I picked up best classic album for Rum, Sodomy and the Lash at the Mojo awards which was a complete suprise as we thought we were just there to give one to Steve Earle, and yesterday we modelled clothes with Mick Jones and Carl Barat for Italian Vogue. Over to you James...
