Shane misses gigs. Shane hasn't released a new album in seven years. Shane has well known problems with drugs. Shane misses possibly career rejuvinating opportunities. Tour dates and publicity events are not communicated to the fan site(s) in a timely manner (if at all). No special treatment for the fan saite(s) has been forthcoming. Shane is a faultless human being, so clearly all these thngs are his manager's fault. Hence the venom felt toward Joey Cashman.

Yeah, what exactly is the deal with people hating Joey Cashman? I've seen the petition and the abusive comments about him, but I seem to have missed how the whole thing started in the first place...

BTW: I was listening to one song by Sinead O'Connor (A Big Bunch Of Junkie Lies) and wondering if it is a reference to that story with her reporting Shane to the police? Anyone has any idea? (probably would have been more appropriate to ask it at Sinead's forum though...)

There was a post on there that stated this a couple of nights ago. It may have been deleted since then.

no one claimed on the prs list they'd seen shane shooting up. someone heard from someone who thought they saw his manager with a needle which is not remotely the same thing, even if they did.

about the shooting up, i doubt it.

Anyone know if this is true?

According to several posts on the shanemacgowan.com forum, Shane was going offstage during the instrumentals/non-Shane songs at the reunion gigs and was seen shooting up by more than one person...

I really hope this is someone's idea of a sick joke. :(
