Iam sure that wasn't a Wedding because they love each other...its more like an toxic Relationship from the very beginning with an pseudo wannabe Itgirl and an really sick Shane who is now complete under her control. Heard that noone of his family were allowed to come.....same with his 60th Birthday.....very sad if that's all true.... but iam sure it is....

Johnny Depp seems to have a lot of affectations, like a troll or something.
He must annoy himself. 8)

I hear that. When my partner & i got married (mostly to facilitate my adoption of the kids), we just didn't tell anyone, except a few friends who we had as witnesses. Had to yell at the kids to get out of the fridge midway thru the "service", so it just wouldn't have been enjoyable for the parents, so we didn't invite 'em.

Still, our friends brought two cakes (the kids made a lego bride & groom on one), there exists a truly lovely photo of the kiss, which i was able to give to my dear Grandma (to whom weddings are very important) before she passed, and we got good & pissed up after. But trying to please everybody else... well, it just can't be done.

Follow-up to the wedding saga (from today's Sunday Independent)

Victoria Clarke:
"I can entirely relate to a person becoming wedding-phobic and getting cold feet. I got engaged last year and while initially it was a lot of fun to play around with mad ideas for a wedding (involving all the guests in Oxfam wedding dresses, running around in a muddy field), the reality was that nobody, not even my friends and family could accept that a wedding could be as informal and silly as I would like it to be.
Eventually I was put off by the sheer overwhelming effect of everyone's opinions as to what kind of ceremony we should have, and where -- so much so that Shane MacGowan and I are still not married. Luckily for me, Shane felt exactly the same way as I do, and so we didn't fall out about it."
