There is an interview with Shanne Bradley on punkglobe:

http://www.punkglobe.com/shannebradleyi ... w0110.html

Among other things she mentions this:

"Punk Globe: Any chance that the band will be playing any shows in 2010?
Shanne: Yes. I am very optimistic about that. "

"Punk Globe: Have you done been in the studio doing any recording?
Shanne: We have done about 4 tracks. so far. Still more to do. Shane has bought a new Gretsch guitar. Prepare for gut wrenching. He is working on his feedback, "

Yeah, but then we never would have had the Pogues!

I was suprised at how great they were when I first heard the disc. Gabrielle is a real stick-in-your-head kinda song that has "radio hit" written all over it. Except apparantly not.

well, the night i got it home, i broke out my turntable...nothing, motor broken. my old one...no needle. my dad's old turntable! warped to hell, and... probably 40 years old, and shows it. so, i know how it sounds at variable speeds...through my 8-track studio... because the plugs were messed up, also. so... i'm in the market. when you're sifting through cartons of crap vinyl, seeing shane's face on an album is like seeing an old friend, in a foriegn country. impulse buy? maybe maybe not.

i'm pretty much through buying music in stores... i do most of my buying on half.com
i got leadbelly, alan lomax, and harry partch on the way...
