I was at Killarney, too. To be honest though, Sharon Shannon and company were just not my cup of meat, and the fact that it was all obnoxiously blasted out of every speaker in the place so you couldn't escape it made it worse. It was a relief when Shane finally came on, but it didn't salvage the night for me, even though I half expected some impostor called Shane McGowan without the "a" to show up to finish the joke (his name was misspelled like that everywhere there). But the draft Murphy's was good and I loved spending a few days in Killarney as it's really beautiful there, so not all was lost. I should just accept that I've never been particularly into celebrating New Year's, anyway.

Your guaranteed a good show either way. Seen her on her own twice. Both times she put on fantastic shows. Shane and sharon also lined up to play the gleneagle in killarney too on NYE
