Shane is not actually appearing in that overrated soap, but as part of a 3 hour Chrimbo extravaganza[?} from 8-11 in which he performs Fairytale with the cast of Constipation Street.Wish i could have gone to Brixton now!

I saw that episode where Michelle[Kym Ryder] sang Fairy Tale of New York in the Rovers, didn't have a bad voice ,i thought.Hearsay,i believe was the name of the band Kym Ryder was a member of and despite her half decent performance,they were shite! I was a student in Wales at the time and my 2 room mates were addicted to Pop Stars and those other awful reality shows,the arguments we used to have,happy days!As for Shane appearing in Corrie,unbelievable,you never know it may lead to greater things,he'd be brilliant in Republic of Doyle.

I seem to recall a few years ago that Kym Marsh who was then playing a barmaid in T' Rovers, singing a few lines from 'Fairy Tale ', maybe Shane could get his own back and sing a few lines from one of her 'hits', wasn't Kym in that awful group who won 'Popstars' in 2001?
