From Botswana via Dublin, London and Berlin, sultry chanteuse Candice Gordon deals in everything from dark, dusty ballads, which could easily form the soundtrack to a Tarantino movie, to punky Janis Joplin-esque numbers that would not sound out of place on a Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs album.

Her six-song EP, ‘Before The Sunset Ends’, has garnered airplay on the likes of BBC Radio One and XFM and received positive reviews from The Guardian and The Daily Mirror and marks her out as a serious talent.

Produced by The Pogues’ Shane MacGowan, the EP showcases her emotive and hugely versatile voice. Fans of Tom Waits, Anna Calvi, PJ Harvey, Ennio Morricone, or those that wished Imelda May had a darker side, will most definitely fall under Gordon’s spell. ...." Galway Independent.
