Thanks, Shaz, that was a fun read.

But "The Pogues without Shane MacGowan were like a Pope without a church." Has she got that the wrong way round, or do I just not quite understand what she's trying to say?

There was a profile piece on Shane in yesterday's Independent (the UK one). Nothing particularly new, but I did rather smile at the thought it's usually young men wanting to prove something who go to interview him.
