Just watched Shane on RTE1"s For One Night Only, The Dubliners special.He came on at the end but I dont think his mic was turned up enough.

Yeah it was shame RTE didn't turn his mic on. He was brought out to sing with The Dubliners plus other guests on Wild Rover but Patsy Whatchorn (spelling?) took two of the verses and Shane was left standing like a child not allowed to join in other childrens games. Fuck'm anyway. Liam O'Ma......(Hothouse Flowers) sang Raglan Road and was brilliant. He was joined by the above mentioned Mary Coughlan who was dire.

Any reason Shane didnt do a tune on this? Fairly poor show. In fairness however his voice is now its surely better than mary coughlan. Shes like a woman on valum. He should have been let do raglan road IMO.
