I dunno what all the moaning is. I love it. Its raw and in yer face - maybe not quite the energy of the mid ninties popes but dam good. Personally Im more of a Popes man than a pogues anyway. But this is unreal, pity bout the ticket sale fiasco. I really really hope i get to see the Shane Gang if there not finished. And in fairness Ive been to gigs where hes forgotten much more words (and still wend mad and loved the gigs). Try Pinkpop for example. Anyway Ive been waiting to see something like this since the whole "sack JC" lark of yrs ago. Long live the King, long live Shanoooooo!!!!

And this, without a doubt in my mind, being one of the worst attempts I've ever experienced. Didn't see it live, didn't pay anything for it, but seeing stuff like this makes me quite pissed off at him.

Go see him with The Pogues. You know it makes sense. Usually. 8)

Just awful :x I wouldn't just blame Shane though. The band obviously need about 29 years more practice gigging with him. Then they might have the same sort of chemistry that the lads in The Pogues have with him. And that instrumental break in Sunny Side Of The Street @ 3:45 onwards was fucking awful (keyboards and Shane just don't sound right).

Was stunned how much light there is on the Mac's face...enough to film a proper DVD... That light guy from Carrickmore should work for The Pogues!!

I think you can take it as read he is unlikely to be working for Mr MacGowan any more.
