hey medusas....shanes first big performance with his new band and so little reviews or vids....
shane seemed to be in good form, but wasn´t it a little bit dissapointing that he didn´t played any new songs? aren´t there plans for a new album? does anybody know if there are new songs in the pipeline??

He was on great form indeed. Songs played (in no particular order sorry - blame the Tuborg): That Womans Got Me Drinking, I'll Be Your Handbag, If I Should Fall From Grace, Her Father Didn't Like Me, Sayonara, Sunny Side Of The Street, Yeah Yeah Yeah, Victoria, London Girl, Rainy Night In Soho and Cracklin' Rosie. There may have been more - but I think thats it.

From the YouTube clip, he certainly sounded like he was on much, much better form than the last time I saw him. Actually come to think of it... that wouldn't exactly be difficult... sounded good though! :)

Caught Shane at the feis he was the standout for me, for the life of me I don't know why he wasnt on the main stage. I loved his set list. Mixture of Pogues classics and his solo gems. Makes up for me missing the last round Pogues tours last Christmas. It's made me twice as sure to catch Them this years fingers crossed.
