The booklet contains a a biography with information on Shanes releases written by Joe Cushley. There's photos from the time with The Nips, The Popes and some of the sleeves the recordings are taken from.
Black is the colour on cd 2 are a previously unreleased version where Shane sings backing vocals.
The compilation seems to be well made. The only flaw is that no songs recorded with The Pogues are on it. The live tracks with The Popes aren't as good as the real stuff..
