I wonder how much truth there is in it.....Sounds like the words of Shanes manager. So 15yrs on and we might be getting twentieth century paddy if the above is to be believed. I wont get too excited given the amount of times we were going to have a new album over the years but i hope to god its true. Good few clancy covers rocked up and well all be laughin. The jools thing wouldnt have done much for me id say. More or less the same as with Sharon Shannon, come on sing rainy night, fairytale and two more. New album, new tunes, new gigs. Philip, if yer reading, is there any truth in the above article? Philip do you write much music these days? I was just listening to faithful departed and if i had to choose a fav song of all time it would prob be that.

"A source close to the star said last night..."

Love it, class act all the way. Is it just EVERY paper with "Sun" in the title?

Anybody heard anything further since those sessions last spring? Is there likely a new album forthcoming? I'm guessing the whole lotta nothing i've heard is not a positive sign...

Joe for HD, Mick now. Shane's fourth solo album is going to be produced by Paul Simonon and is going to be a mix of rockabilly, spaghetti western music and dub reggae.

Sounds amazing. X my fingers this will happen. Great that Mick Jones is involved i think he can get the best out of Shane.

My opinion on that? Well, we have been waiting for that for ages, so what a question!
From what I have heard the new album will be more rock'n'roll style but don't take my word for it. Shane is always good in surprising people.
The quality of the band seems really good. I haven't been at those 2 shows though.

Sounds great to me too! Here's a song I think he could put on the new album. It's by Ian Clarke and well worth a listen!

This sounds great but we have to await what the result will be, but for now I'm looking forward to it!
