Emm, I know they played the Town and Country once. And that Kieran O'Hagan (Mo) was in the band. Or maybe I'm making that up. SHIT may forever remain a mystery.

There was a band in my home town which split up a couple of years back called "Gobble And The Cocks". I always thought that was a very good name. And actually another band called "Santa's Bugger Boys" which was always quite catchy I thought.

But anyway, back on topic, can anybody shed any light on this short lived (presumably) "SHIT" outfit?

I was reading The Pogue Mahone book and it said that Shane was knocked down by a car whilest out with Spider and Alex Cox and really fucked himself up, causing the band to miss loads of dates, whilest Shane was recovering the band took some time of to 'do there own thing' whatever that was.

Anyway whilest Shane was getting better he and Spider formed a band called SHIT (Yes thats not a typo) just wondering if they ever recorded anything, how big/small they were, according to the book they done a few shows and basically covered Nips, Pogues and other bands songs, I've never heard or read an interview with Shane that he mentions Shit or the accident.
