A very beautiful song indeed by Mr Cave.

But then, why didn´t they count the "Rainy night in Soho" versions that have been released before ? Maybe there are far too many versions to count them !? :D

I've always wondered that too. (Well, not often, just occasionally).

Great song. I love the chorussy bit when they both sing it together. Cracking stuff.

On all the formats I have (7", 12" and MCD) it says "Lucy version no.2". What happened to version no. 1 ? Is it available somewhere, and how do the two versions differ ?

does anybody know who the band playing with Shane is on the song lucy? it's the b-side to the what a wonderful world with nick cave, so is shane playing with the bad sees? it seems a little too early for the popes.
