Next gigs (in Holland on 20th and 21st May, in Spain on 22nd May) were cancelled: doctors had advised him to rest completely for at least 3 -4 weeks, without working at all. Early in June Shane and Victoria had a nice holiday in Malta. On 12 Jun he showed up in Prague, at Respect ethnic festival. And then Road to Paradise single company was launched so later Shane had no time to be down. The rest of 2004 was busy

To add to MacRua's almost perfect macgowan diary there was a May festival gig in Belgium, (Arlons?) which the Popes made it to, but Shane didn't. Doctors orders.
