If she believes the gig is on she should contact the manager of the Lemon Tree in Aberdeen! He believed last month's Shane and popes gig was on until the night before. And the other venues. Plus, it's right before USA so he'll almost certainly be rehearsing with the Pogues.

Shane would like it known that he will NOT be playing this date, nor did he ever agree to it.

Had sent an e-mail to the millenium forum in Derry regarding the popes/shane gig they are advertising that shane says he has no knowledge of...got this response today:
Hi ,

Thanks for your recent enquiry on Shane MacGowan. We have contacted the promoter who has confirmed that Shane will be performing with The Popes for his Forum gig in March.

Someone doe'nt know whats going on...i'm guessing its the forums end thats fucked up
