Dublin's a rambling big place. Now if he asked what part of Dublin and what street and what number....that would have been creepy - but he didn't, (lucky for him..).
I once was at a Deli one afternoon waiting for my turn when Jon English walked in. I was young and impatient (oh for those days...). I could see people stepping aside to let him in, and he actually tried to muscle in front of me, for which he received a sharp elbow. A lady nearby hissed, 'That's Jon English you know!' To which I replied sullenly - 'And he'll wait his turn like the rest of us.' Quite funny in hindsight...he actually seemed hurt, poor man.
