Thankfully due to a flaky firewall, the tune won't get in back into my head :P

You say that in jest, but before seeing the Dropkick Murphys in a club in Brisbane and the stage announcer informed us to Dance Safely :o

I can well believe it. I remember going to a festival where the promoters had given the artists a list of the kind of crowd behaviour that they weren't allowed to encourage. You can guess the sort of thing: no moshing, no pogoing, no crowd-surfing and so on. Early on in their set, one of the singers (I can't remember who it was) read out the list to the crowd. Then looked at the crowd, grinned, and said, "Just do what you like, guys."

Me & the wife tried to foxtrot to Fields Of Athenry, but there were 'crowd control monitors' who didn't take too kindly to my footwork

So, did you dance safely? Like slows, jigs and all? Hope nobody bumped in each other at a rock show, that would be a shame.

Mic swinging is rock and roll, Id like to see Philip put his guitar through the bass drum at the end of the show and Spider do a 'Paul Simonen' with his whistle and break it in half on the stage floor.

maybe a barrett 50, now there would be some swinging in the crowd thwn or maybe just a plain old M50 ( not the motorway ) and Philip could load with rounds draped over the neck of his guitar..

now that would get the crowd going  Image

You know he'd be on for it too Philip
