My brother was at that gig, he said Shane was great but appeared drunker and drunker as the night went on.

btw I was at the Dublin reunion gig (the only time I've ever seen the pogues, and wont be the last) at christmas just wondering if you could play somewhere near the north the next time you come to Ireland. It was a mission.

Geraldine Gallagher played whistle on ABA. Here is the line-up for the album:

Shane MacGowan's Popes: Shane MacGowan (vocals); Paul McGuinness (guitar); Tom McMannamon (banjo); Mick O'Connell (accordion); Bob Dowling (bass); Andy Ireland (drums).
Additional personnel: Theresa MacGowan (vocals); Geraldine Gallagher (whistles, Uilleann pipes); Sarge O'Hara (piano).

And, of course, also Siobhan MacGowan, on backing vocals. :) Brian Kelly joined the band later, in the end of 2003.

I in the middle of downloading the album from Kufen's, I noticed that there very little penny-whistle init, since I dont have the liner notes for it, I was wondering if Spider played onit, and did Brian Kelly on it or was that before his time with the popes?
