This seems awkward. It's like hearing both sides of a phone conversation AND seeing that the person holding the receiver is holding it upside down.

"Japan" by Pharoah Sanders. It's on the box set actually, recorded live in Tokyo. I'd forgotten we played it in Scunnyo too.

Watched The Pogues live for the 1st time at The Hacienda & it still ranks as one of the best gigs I have ever been to, I can remember wanting them to play on & on & on, we were all singing & shouting WE WANT MORE WE WANT MORE. The Hac wasnt the biggest of venues & The Pogues soon grew to big to play there but that night was fantastic & I will always remember it.

I remember a gig in Finsbury Park 1991 with Kirsty on the stage. Although the pogues shane and have split up a few weeks later, so the concert was on of the best gigs I ever seen. Not sure if Andrew was on this day on drums.

No way was i wearing a t-shirt proclaiming my 200 th POGUES GIG,at the Melkweg!Though i did think about getting one made up before i left home, but i am not an exhibitionist,if there was such a person wearing that t-shirt,then he is an imposter,a stinker of the highest order!Still,i did appreciate the round of applause......
