so its friday night already been a long few days seen a few good bands and one who were outstanding,skinny lister.
off to avalon to see stornoway ,after a few songs got bored and went out for a smoke ,then an oldish bloke asked for a light and i mentioned it should be the pogues playing not storoway,he agreed and got talkin about the pogues ended up having our own private sing song outside of avalon, then my m8 turnred up after gig and joined in as did the old boys m8 both irish by the way and knew so much about the pogues and remembered the lyrics more than i ever could ,chatted for ages ,took em up to strummerville to show em joe strummer memorial stone ,had a drink for joe.
shared me whisky with them an they bid farewell.
think one was called dave and knows of medusa forum ,so if reading this thanx for the sinalong and stories of the pogues ,thats what glastonbury is all about meeting random strangers and having a good laugh ,thanx for a great night.
