In the year of 2010 The Pogues played 3 shows in December at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin.
They filmed all 3 concerts and released a DVD of the best material from those 3 shows.
Terry Woods was so pleased with the DVD
The release Party was held of course at the Olympia on St. Pat's day 2011.
It was 3 fantastic shows with some great friends to the band who guested the shows.
Tom Waits, Steve Earle, Sharon Shannon, Nick Cave, The Specials and Cait O'Riorden guested the shows.
Shane had Sunglasses on during the shows because someone hade explained for him how much money he would do if a new DVD with the Pogues would be released

In spring 2010 The Pogues recorded a new album a double CD with one CD with originals from the band, Shane contributed with 7 songs and 8 songs from the other members of the band.
Steve Earle, Nick Cave and Tom Waits also wrote songs to the album.
The second CD was a collection of traditional songs and some reworks of some favourite songs in the band, the feeling was that they could record those songs and give some new life in to theme in the special "The Pogues-way".
The album was released in the end of November and the new Christmas tour started in the beginning of December.

Then I woke up

I hope it wasnt the second Dublin gig that was on the DVD ha ha

Tom Waits,

I've always thought Tom Waits would do a killer "Old Main Drag".
