"A story I heard many years back from a guy who I used to work with;
Shane McGowan was a regular in the pub my colleague used to drink in. One lunch time McGowan was piling money into a fruit machine. Another regular was in there and had his young daughter with him. She went over and stood by the fruit machine just watching. McGowan gave her some money to play the fruit machine and with one of these coins she hit the jackpot. McGowan let her take the money. The girl’s father then brought the money back to McGowan but he refused to take it. He said “She hit the jackpot. It’s her money!”"
