Greenland Whale Fisheries / The Auld Triangle / Streams Of Whiskey / Boys From The County Hell / Dark Streets Of London (NON FADE OUT] / The Band Played Waltzing Matilda

This one is a bit of a mystery. The cassette came to me with an original "Pog mo Thoin" harp sticker on the j-card and the tape is marked "BBC Session - First Single". Looks like a John Peel Session. If anyone can supply any more info on this, please let me know.

1984 - First BBC Sessions

01 Greenland Whale Fisheries.flac
02 The Auld Triangle.flac
03 Streams Of Whiskey.flac
04 Boys From The County Hell.flac
05 Dark Streets Of London.flac

Thanks.

This was just the details from one session mate? https://web.archive.org/web/20131206105 ... 983-84.htm

Seems there are more BBC sessions than those listed on pogueslive.com.
Could compare them to the coming album.

There's also these

1984 - Unknown Sessions

01. Dark Streets Of London extended version.flac
02. Waltzin Matilda.flac
03. Streams Of Whiskey.flac
04. Poor Paddy.flac
05. Dingle Regatta.flac

And there's another early Dark Streets demo that goes a bit wobbly at the end before it cuts off

Phew, 1 less life goal.

But there is an extended demo version :D

Really? Different to the one on the Box Set (which I don't think is extended)?

I would say it was the non fade out version from Red Roses sessions Oyvind is talking about?
