I have a copy of the free soundboard boot which as stated already is of excellent quality.

The seller confirmed it was factory produced (which I collect) so I entered the transaction with my eyes open.

I'm in Dublin and it's the first time I've ever heard that this show was actually broadcast at the time on Irish radio so I reckon that's a porkie!

Do we know that there definitely was an official FM radio recording/broadcast? These 'grey market' CDs often claim to be from radio broadcasts when in many cases it's utter nonsense.

There's also a version labelled as Trinity College where the actual gig was meant to take place and it's a much more superior recording but not the full show.

It does say on the cover of Migrants on the Home Front that it's a live FM recording

Thanks lads. Yeah these are indeed all over the place but I thought this may have been something new...... old.

This has circulated, for free, as a soundboard bootleg for years. I would be surprised if there was also a radio broadcast, as surely one of us would have seen that previously. The label is listed as "X-Ray". If it is this one

then it's just a straight out bootleg, somebody selling what was freely shared. Shame!

Looks to me like one of those 'grey market' releases, unofficial but not actually a bootleg - the same as the Streams of Whiskey CD from 2002. Amazon is full of them, many claiming to be from radio broadcasts (presumably for copyright reasons) - some are, some aren't.

Is this an unofficial release?
