Pogues Songbook

Post by Will Sun Jan 27, 2013 1:02 am

I'd like to see a detailed collection of all of the Pogues songs. Could include some never before released material as well, since I know Shane at the very least is sitting on some songs that have never seen the light of day, and likely never will -- at least in the form of a new record. The only Pogues songbook currently out contains a whopping fourteen songs, one of which is traditional, one of which was written by Ewan MacColl, and one of which is essentially the Curragh of Kildare reimagined. Hardly does justice to a band with such great songwriters. Just sayin'.
