Shane almost had me crying when he sang Kitty in Boston this spring.

When he sang A Rainy Night in Soho, I bowed my head and entered a trance-like state, swaying back and forth to the music. I felt a hand reach out from behind me and gently pat me on the shoulder as if to say everything is alright. That broke the moment.

I waited until after the song was over before I turned around and saw it was a girl from the row behind me. She quickly tried to apologize, but I didnt mind. The whole thing was strange. I'll remember it for a long time.

Green Fields of France by The Fureys & Davy Arthur.

My Grandad fought in the First World War, was gassed at Passchendaele. Luckily he made it home. Can't help thinking of what they all must have gone through when I hear this song. Written by the same bloke who wrote 'And the band played Waltzing Matilda', Eric Bogle.

A Pair of Brown Eyes evokes wonderful imagery everytime I revist it. Also anything by Britney Spears (sarcastic) :D

haha i want that for my wedding song.
There are only three songs that make me cry but all for the same reason, i dont get sad very much. They are Straight to hell- the live one, this is england and johnny appleseed.
No songs make me cry just because they sound sad or anything like that.

Lots of years ago when I was suffering from lover´s gried very badly I listened to "False hearted lover" by The Dubliners for hours on end ... needless to say there was more than one tear involved ...
