WEA promo cassettes

Post by stuart Fri Jul 28, 2006 2:05 pm

I've got a few WEA promo cassettes from late 80s/early 90s, all with Pogues material on them. They're called "WEA instore cassette" and are labelled "not for sale - promotion only". I've got:

no 17 - fiesta
no 35 - misty morning
no 39 - white city
no 40 - white city
no 55 - jack's heroes
no 57 - jack's heroes
no 60 - summer in siam
no 61 - summer in siam

I've also got WEA's "twelve titles to fall for" cassette, which includes peace and love.

Each tape has about a dozen other tracks from other WEA bands of the day - madonna, prince, REM, JAMC, Nick Kamen (!), Ian McCulloch, etc, etc.

I know they're just the regular versions of the song but I don't see them listed in the discography.

I may consider selling them if there are any completists out there...

Stuart.
