Terry Woods is the lead man on South Oz,though when it was originally performed live in the latter half of of 1986,Spider was more prominent with the harmony bits, maybe on the studio version also, though methinks other band members would have joined in,of course it is the same Mr.Woods who utters a naughty word at the very end, pure class Terry.

I hear ya, when i first started listening to the band, Terry & Spider sounded alike to me, and for sure there's a similarity. But after having listened to a bunch of other Terry Woods stuff, it's funny because now they sound nothing alike to me! I think it's delivery as much as anything, Spider has a more, er, forceful delivery. And to be fair, Terry belts it out on South Australia, so it's not surprising it would confuse.
