Hate to keep reviving a stillborn thread, but 'officially,' according to the 'Pogues Songbook,' it goes like this:
[D5]Last [D4]night [D4]as [E4]I [D4]slept
[F#4]I [D4]dreamt [D5]I [E5]met [D5]with [A4]Be[F#4]han
Not of the opinion that there's any 'correct' way to play a song. Everything's open to interpretation. Been making a study of the Pogues lately, and this one's been driving me nuts. Since my mistakes are on the record, I figured I should correct them on the record.
For those not in the know, the numbers following the notes indicate the octave register. So D5 is an octave above D4. Nothing more.
