Just by curiosity, i still wonder...

I always hoped a new Pogues record would be similar to Shane's reading of An Irish Airman foresees his Death mixed with some of Tom Waits' spoken pieces. Sortta a Frank's Irish Years if that makes sense.

I don't know...I've heard many times that Shane has written a lot over the years, but probably he doesn't feel very confident about it? But you've got to remember that most of his songs were written between the early and the late 80's...and he certainly was on a creative peak during those years, so probably that did get lost later on...

Metallica meets Bieber.

Funny but still wonder if it would sound like the Pogues of the last (more electric like in first Shane's album or a bit pop-rock like in Waiting For Herb), Original Pogues of the last (Hell's Ditch, Peace And Love, though Hell's Ditch is very much different than Peace And Love) or Pogues of the Old...
But i have the feeling i'm going to question myself for the rest of my days.

That would be a terrific sequel to the excellent Some Kind of Monster movie.
