Beginning to slowly compile this thing!

Brendan Shine - Catch me if you can
Dermot O'Brien - Connemara Rose
Dermot O'Brien - The old Claddagh ring
Luke Kelly - Peggy Gordon
The Dubliners - Never wed an old man
The Dubliners - Finnegans Wake
Whiskey you're the devil
Muirshin Durkin
Seamus Ennis
The Bothy Band
The Clancy Brothers

Any help with the Seamus Ennis tune Philip?

He mentions some songs including:

Dermot O'Brien - Connemara Rose

Anyone know of more songs on this influential tape?

Didn't he also have a tape that was just James Jameson bass lines? Think i read that in the Carole Clerk book (unless that was some other band i'm thinking about...)

I bought a couple of those at the souvenir shop at Motown (Hitsville) in Detroit and gave Darryl one of them. It's a book/tape. Motown were also unloading their Martin Luther King speeches album at the time. Bought a bunch of those too.

God I must have heard that tape a hundred times in the Poguemobile, but the weird thing is, I can't remember what was on it. I'm pretty sure "Peggy Gordon" sung by Luke Kelly was on there though.
