I've always had a bit of a thing for Down All The Days and Girl From The Wadi Hammamat, both of which get stuck in my head from time to time.

Yeah, DITGWTDG was a bit different, but it still had the Irish-y feel. I've always felt SDBTF sounded a lot like Bottle of Smoke though, but I see what you mean.

Gotta agree with ya K, buncha great ones but just one is too tough

I would suggest Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah. A Motown-esque romp that sounds nothing like the stereotypical Pogues, yet exactly like The Pogues 8)

That too. As a whole Peace and Love may be one of my favorite albums just because of the pure variety of music.

Loreirei (spelling?) is also very unique.

Worms

Even more of a stand out track if played live when the lighting is done well.

Hey guys, I a tad new at posting here. I couldn't find a thread under the same name so I'd figured I'd make one m'self. :)

The Pogues music is so diverse, but it was always recognizable. There are some songs that stand out to me as one of the most unique Pogues song.

I think It's Blue Heaven for me. the music is incredibly different from the traditional Irish tune. The melody of the lyrics is not much like other songs in the collection. The actually vocals is also unique too. Overall it's one of my favorite songs on Peace and Love.

So what's yours?
