Apart from those five snags, we have a winner.

Ahh quite a pickle DITG. You could ask her to holiday in Oz in April?

The way the finances are I would struggle to go halves on a DVD of The Wizard of Oz :) :)

This is normally when I say "well that are playing in December" and then optimistically book just one hotel room and hope not to get slapped.

But some band or other has decided to ruin this plan and a long-shot at romance. Maybe I should have tried to get her into Jools instead.

How about plan "B",

1) Invite her over to your place for dinner and a screening of The Pogues.
2) If you're able, produce a meal with your own hands that avoids giving her food poisioning.
3) Provide drink.
4) Watch Live at Town and Country, and "If I should fall from grace" DVD's
5) Possible same conclusion to your plan "A"

Good Gad, man. Only a bloke could imagine that either of these movies would trump Sleepless in Seattle.

HA! Agreed but I was going along the line of providing her with more insight into the band ! Plus if the meal and the drink are just right the movie should turn into the evenings soundtrack!

The final disc is signed an sealed. Let's hope the Royal Mail don't have a penalty shootout with this package.

For the record, I went with the 6th draft

Rainy Night
Body of an American
Pair of Brown Eyes
NW3 (wildcard)
Broad Majestic
Thousands
IISFFGWG
Waltzing
Bottle of Smoke
Sunnyside

Will report if she likes um. My record is patchy; Duckworth Lewis Method was a surprise success so who knows

Only 10 songs is too much of a chore

Transmetropolitan
Streams Of Whiskey
Old Main Drag
A Pair Of Brown Eyes
Sally MacLennane
Body Of An American
London Girl
Turkish Song of the Damned
Thousands Are Sailing
Misty Morning Albert Bridge

For me, as it is an introduction, I'd put (and not in this order) the following:
I'm A Man You Don't Meet Everyday
Body Of An American
Fairytale of NY
A Pair of Brown Eyes
Sally MacLennane
Streams of Whiskey
Streets of Sorrow/Birmingham 6
Broad Majestic Shannon
Thousands Are Sailing
Turkish Song of the Damned

Close competition would be:
And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda
My Baby's Gone
Bottle of Smoke
Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah
